Once again the Wimmera is bracing for a day of catastrophic fire danger, while a huge blaze in Western Victoria continues to burn.

Ahead of the deteriorating conditions a base camp is being set up in Ballarat for more than 300 fire fighters and people in affected areas are being told to consider leaving on Tuesday night.
